I keep noticing these four guys bunched together in my Alt 2000s playlist. Which in your opinions is the best and why?

This is a tough one, some good choices, in order of preference:I really liked the Killers disc, Kaiser Chiefs was very good and underappreciated, Keane's last album I liked although they catch a lot of flak as being rip off artists (Their new single is definitely growing on me) and Kasabian I just liked a couple of the songs. In one of your earlier posts you asked who Kasabian sounded like, I recently heard some early Janes Addiction and immediately thought of Kasabian. Another good "K" album from last year, Killradio "Raised On Whip Cream", more punky than any of the above but really worth checking out if you like that type of stuff!

Though I have a strong fancy for Keane, for me the best K band are the Kaiser Chiefs. They are like one of the few bands that are not copying any other band and that have an own style that shows signs of influence of great bands such as The Clash. They are what Blur and Pulp were in the 90s... poets of daily life situations.
Kasabian is cool...but not very original... Stone Roses somewhere?? I feel it all over their music.
The Killers..well...their good stuff is not the most succesful in the charts. I think that the best songs among Hot Fuss are the ones that haven't become hits.

All four bands are great, but I gave my vote to Kaiser Chiefs.

I must be old. I couldn't tell you anything about any of those bands!

My vote goes to the Killers, since IMHO they've made the most complete album, almost all the songs in Hot Fuss could be hits or at least are quite good.
And about the other 3 bands, though I think they're good, I only like some of their songs.

You know Mechi, some songs by Kaiser Chiefs (i.e. Everyday I love you less and less) sound to me like a mix between The Ramones and Rheingold [8D]

Yes, Every day I love you less and less also reminds me of Ramones a bit.. has a pretty strong energy.

The band "Klee" has a new album out. Check out the song "Gold" (English Version).

I vote for The Killers although if they have a Duran Duran type meltdown and put out a series of embarrasing follow up albums I reserve the right to rescind that.
