Love the music from this guy Jason Amm aka solvent his influences are all the great electro pop grandfathers of the 80's and their influences are easily heard. I've got an LP on vinyl, Apples & Synthesizers, and it's really good. Definately on the electroclash side of things but the 80's influences are there in droves.
I've also got a CD called Elevators & Oscillators which looks to be a compilation of remixes. Good, but not as good as the vinyl.

Yeah Ollie I think solvent and joy electric both are on the top of the eighties influenced electro scene. If anyone is brave enough to take a step out of eighties electro these would be your first step.
