I really really hope it's good. They have the potential to be. But they also have the potential to be poser weenies too. We'll see!

I like the retro look to their video "Mr Brightside"

Looks like the kind of thing that would have been produced in the 80's.

I've heard a music critic the other day in the radio saying that the album was really obvious and that he was expecting more.
Anyway, let's wait and see (actually, hear).

The new single, "When You Were Young" is out on iTunes. Sounds OK. Nothing breathtaking.

Hope the album is good.

Love the new song. It remind me of something don't know what.Maybe a typical example of 90's Brit pop song.

Getting to like "When you were young" but I remember liking "Somebody told me" better when it first came out.

Not that I put much into it, but The Rolling Stone reviewer of "Sam's Town" wasn't impressed ...

However, its reviewers have recently been impressed with such complete and utter shit as Fergie, Justin Timberlake and Beyonce, so I'm guessing that "Sam's Town" is going to make *me* a happy camper.

Unfortunately, it was Rob Sheffield, a huge fan of '80s New Wave, and the biggest '80s fanatic at Rolling Stone. He lamented the Killers losing their New Wave sounds on this one. That's troubling [V]

Well, I have a copy of this album. So far, I love it. And to me, they sound like they arn't loosing their new wave sound. It is even more catchy than Hot Fuss. But who caught there performance on SNL?

It's not a bad album. It's certainly not "Hot Fuss" part two, which I'll bet is what most people wanted.

I need to listen to it more. Initially, I'm kind of "meh" about it, though I think it's one of those albums that will grow on me.

I forgot to watch SNL. They are on Jimmy Kimmel for three nights this week: 3rd, 4th and 5th and again on the 9th. http://abc.go.com/primetime/jimmykimmel/
