1.My main source is internet stations ,3wk underground,Radio Edge,Radio rock and other streaming audio stations from i-tunes

2.Music Snobbery.com- Someone posted the link here and its been a great source of info on new bands and concert reveiws,I don't how this guy has the time to see all these bands.

3.NWO next wave page-Thanks Blir for the Zutons tip and Panorama for Imperial Teen

4.wfnx/Boston- Although their playlist is dominated by established acts and too much emo they add ,on occasion ,a band that I haven't heard on the net.

5.Boston Globe-They have a decent music section on fridays ,first time I heard of Interpol and Franz Ferdinand.

6.concerts-Warm up acts I hadn't heard of,The Warlocks before Black Rebel MC come to mind.

Definitely the Next Wave forum with the likes of DJCraig, popreactor and others laying some great new stuff on me.

Chats in different DC hubs and forums of indie bands that I like - they tend to like similar things.

Coop's fabulous grabs of these monthly indie playlists off Bittorrent.

Like Tileboy said, musicsnobbery.com plus things like Popmatters and Stylus.

Taking a chance on some newer bands that might be playing in NYC, Boston, Austin, Montreal or wherever I might be traveling. Gomez, Metric and others have all been eye-openers. There's tons of great 'troubadors' out there.

I have to agree Djcraig is definetly a new music guru. I forgot to mention the cmj(college music journal)web site . I usually check out who's on their top 20 playlist.

This is an awesome source, typically over 100 songs each month from different bands.



-I also am a voracious reader of music magazines, Alt Press and The Big Takeover are two of the numerous ones I read regularly.


-And the folks here!

Besides, the NWO... certainly YouTube.com by link association... some videos take you to even better videos.
And when it comes to Argentinian indie... the best thing is to take the chance of seeing different bands at small festivals or shows.
