2006's EP Movements is definitely one of the year's best efforts. House, techno and electro enthusiasts alike should definitely check it out. It's all served with a cool, sophisticated vibe.

this reminds me of a 12" I picked up at Bills is the 90's but i can't remember what it was for the life of me. I just rummaged through my crates and its not there and more....in particular I am talking about the track Manderin Girl. It was a female vocal, lyrics were something like " if you don't want me"....thanks Marv you've managed to drive me nuts today! :)

Cool, I'll look into XLR8. Here's a mix I did with Booka Shade and some other artists I'm into, like Freeform Five, Hot Chip and Sia. I also included old school favs like Depeche, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys and Kraftwerk for some true school vibe. I like to mix up the electronic inovators with the new school. It's a continuous mix but I need to break it up in case people want to FF to the next piece.

edit: DUH. I forgot to give the link:

more of the lyrics come to mind:
"but when you want me it might be a different story"

nothing comes up that rings a bell on Discogs, nothing on Yahoo/Google...this is frustrating.

OK I found it Marv! Insanity gone...momentarily. The band was Altern8 and the track was Infiltrate 202, here's a link to info on discogs: http://www.discogs.com/release/137948 I don't have the MP3 on my hard drive but I'll rummage through all my backup disc to see if its somewhere on there. Or if you can find it please post it.

Edit:OK Imagine that its on F'n YouTube!

Cool - I like the slow pan being the consistent motif throughout the vid.

Totally. That and the creative usage of light. You could do so much with so little.
