Any Metric fans at all?

I've posted maybe 4 previous notes about Metric...and don't think I got a single response. Does ANYBODY else like these guys? Given they have so many tracks that feel so new wave and Emily Haines is such a damned charismatic lead, I'd hope that someone else around here was a fan of this most excellent Toronto export. I'm certainly checking out their current tour.
I've also picked up the long-awaited commercial issue of their previously unreleased original album, Grow Up and Blow Away. I was surprised to find the track listing and content subtley different than the original free internet release, especially missing one of my favorite tracks, a languidly sexy number called "Torture Me". But I'll take that as license to post it here in hopes that SOMEBODY enjoys it...

Blir, long overdue thank you for listing Succexy as one of your picks in the "Best Next Wave Songs" thread. I picked up "Old World Underground, Where Are You Now" on that recommendation and loved it. In fact I still pop that disc in the rotation every week or so. Thanks for sharing "Torture Me". Maybe its about time I give a listen to Metric's other discs.

Recently picked up Live it out on the cheap. "Monster Hospital" is a killer tune, I have to give the cd a few more spins to form more of an opinion.

Dude, that's a ridiculously insane lineup. I'd go see every one of those bands individually. Well, all but The Bravery.

If you happen to be hanging around the house this afternoon wfnx will be doing a live video stream. Starts around 4:00 or 4:30.

Metric did an acoustic set, kind of bummed about that , Gaslight Anthem rocked hard , their songs pack more punch live, and Passion Pit impressed with some great dance beats. Missed Airborne Toxic Event and The Bravery , the kids were getting whinny at that point.
