[i]David Bowie has revealed he is a fan of The Last Shadow Puppets' cover of his track 'In the Heat of the Morning'.

The Shadow Puppets, a side-project for Arctic Monkeys singer Alex Turner and Miles Kane of The Rascals, recorded a version of the song for the B-side of their upcoming single.

Bowie told his official website: "That's a delight! How lovely. A daymaker."[/i]

The Last Shadow Puppets new album, "The Age of the Understatement" is out.

The album has a dramatic retro vibe that can only be described as Burt Bacharach meets Quentin Tarantino. Songs like, "Standing Next to Me" and "The Chamber" have a 60s Mersey beat sound that will have you reminiscing about Gerry and The Pacemakers.

"My Mistakes Were Made for You" looks to be the lead single.

I've been digging this LP recently, it's better than the second Arctic Monkeys disc in my opinion

Wish they'd done "My Mistakes Were Made For You" instead. That is one wicked song. Funny how at the end of the show, Turner has Paget Brewster eating out of his hands. Holy crap this dude must get so much action.
