I'm looking for something current in a Mazzy Star / Trash Can Sinatras kinda thing with maybe a Galaxie 500 twist. Anybody know of anything?

<p align="justify">Try Melpo Mene and Kent, both from Sverige (I'd get the Swedish version of Kent's [i]Isola[/i] and listen to "Oprofessionell" in a vicious loop). Melpo Mene just released their second album this month. There's also one or two songs by Loveholic (in Korean)[}:)]</p>

After 10 years, it never went down in price. It's 18 bucks + 3 for shipping and handling. You could get the English/domestic version for 5 bucks (if you don't mind used cut-out/promos)[}:)]

Thank You marvymarv for this topic of yours and XXX for the awesome videos. Do you know where I can buy the Delispice - Missing You and Confession and also Loveholic - Rainy Day & Sylvia songs on cd? If there not available, do you have them in mp3 format? I would rather find the actual cd though. Any help would be appreciated.

Their first album, [i]F.L.O.R.I.S.T.[/i], has the song "Rainy Day." I'd say about half the songs are pretty solid (six songs or so). Their second album, [i]Invisible Things[/i], has the same amount of good songs (about six) and contains "Sylvia." YesAsia doesn't have it for sale, but this site does:

You could also skip all that and buy their compilation, [i]Dramatic And Cinematic[/i], which already has both songs. However, even though it's a compilation, the best stuff comes from their first and second albums. The third album only has one or two good songs; the rest sounds like filler. There's also an album of covers they did (covers of Korean Pop songs). The band broke up, so that's pretty much the extent of their discography.

DeliSpice's 6th album is a little harder to get. Both these sites don't carry it, but mrkwang can probably get it. The problem is that he only takes PayPal. Check it out. His prices are reasonable as well, and even if shipping is from Korea, it'll get to you in 2 weeks - tops (it took one week for me).

I also bought the album just for the one song, "Missing You," but the rest sounded okay, although I really listen to the one song. The band Tearliner also sounds a little bit like them: very downbeat stuff.

If you want the Galaxie 500 sound, Luna would be a logical place to start. If you want something quiet, charming and twee, try "I Want Everything" from their debut LunaPark.
