I had my Blirwinian moment, a song popped on and it sent me back to a time when the joy in my heart clouded the pain in my feet. If you haven't checked out The Shout Out Louds by now you are missing out.
I was fortunate enough to see them 3 times this year and when this song came on I transported back to better times.
All of their releases are recommended but this song got lost on the disc for me, but it was a standout live that I just simply forgot about for the last few months.

Shout Out Louds - South America (Live SXSW 2008 at Emo's Outside Afternoon Show)- this recording doesn't do the song justice

I recently gave a listen to their 2005 album "Howl Howl Gaff Gaff". At first I thought the singer was trying to portray things from the perspective of a mentally disabled person, but upon further listen the singing and lyrics are just retarded. Some of the tunes are somewhat catchy, but not terribly inventive.
