Electro-pop in Glasgow!

Discussions about the new generations of bands influenced by '80s New Wave and Postpunk

Electro-pop in Glasgow!

Postby NevadaBase » Fri Nov 14, 2008 9:50 am

Hello!

We're a new band looking for some feedback on our demo which was created with analogue synths and drum machines from the 80s. I don't think we are 'New Wave' as such but a few (modern) influences are Hot Chip, LCD Soundsystem, Neon Neon, Metronomy, Digitalism, The Rapture, Cut Copy etc. Have a listen:

As for the (many) 80s influences I am sure you guys will be able to pick them out! But basically: pop songs, with synths, drum machines and some guitar. We would love to hear what you think as we are just getting started and really looking for our direction. And if you're in Glasgow - give us a shout!

Thanks a bunch,

Nevada Base
