Welcome to the new forum!

I enjoy bands like The Pogues and The Levellers.

Can anyone else list some Irish bands I should checkout. Any help would be appreciated.

If you're looking for rocked-out Irish/Celtic stuff look for these bands:

The Men They Couldn't Hang
Oysterband
Boiled In Lead
(early) Great Big Sea (more Newfoundland/Canadian folk but still good)
Black 47
Saw Doctors

and the album that pretty much started the whole thing (and one of my top 3 desert island records ever) is Liege And Leif by Fairport Convention

There is a band in San Diego called [b]The Downs Family[/b] that (IMO) kicks Flogging Mollys arse: probably as close as your gunna get to some good Pogues drinking'fighting music:

here isnt the best example of how punk they get (there are vocals): but you get the idea.....
