I'm not sure what Gruff Rhys and Boom Bip were aiming for here, but if it was to reproduce archetypal new wave as accurately as possible, they might have succeeded. Not my favorite, but it's worth a look at least for their spot-on Police-meet-Synthpop mimicry...
