They were pretty decent on "Saturday Night Live" a couple weeks back. After suffering through unlistenable sets from Crap on the Radio, Coldplagiaryzed and Fleet Enemas, it was nice to hear a band on "SNL" with a modicum of songwriting talent and a singer who doesn't sound like a dying elephant.

June 18th date coming up fast. Also just announced that Phoenix and Passion Pit to play at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park on Sept 25th. Tix on sale Friday.

I don't know if I'm on board with this band yet.

Anyone remember "Too Young" from Lost In Translation? I didn't realize Phoenix's lead is actually partnered with Sophia Coppola - she of the great taste in music. There isn't an official video for the song. I don't know what's going on in the video below, but it totally works for some reason. I like it.
