Any thoughts on this group? Debating on whether to take the plunge and getting there self-titled CD.

I think they're debut is better than their new one "Harmonies For The Haunted". "Sweet Troubled Soul" and "Damn This Foolish Heart" are the standouts. Both kinda sound like late 80's Damned.

I loved their debut, and to cordially disagree with ghosty, I think their sophmore effort is even better. Definitely check 'em out.

Revisiting an "oldie". It's about time for something more by them isn't it? Anyone heard anything? 2005's "Lost in Time" just popped onto my iPod last night, and I forgot how freaking epic that track is. This guy can belt it, and the guitars are truly stellar, kinda ala Editors. I wish they had better overall songwriting - they just don't have the repertoire of great songs. I'd love to be blown away by a killer 3rd album. Agreed with HG that #2 was better than the s/t.

Blir, I saw them live with Editors @ Higher Ground and although Editors were great, Stellastarr* was even better. If only that would translate to their records ...

Great band..their first album is great..loved every track.. second release didnt do anything for me after many listens..

They definitely have alot of love for 80's new wave in their own style.
