Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has checked out a band called De/vision?

De/Vision is a decent synthpop act from Germany. If you like artists like Camouflage, Alphaville, or Wolfsheim, you will probably like De/Vision.

Here's a taste for the uninitiated (a remix from a now out-of-print comp): De/Vision - Hear Me Calling (Mesh Remix)

You can check out their website: http://www.devision-music.de/

"Sweet Life" is a great song, very depeche-ish!

How weird; I was just listening to these guys this morning.

I like "Try to Forget", "Miss You More", "Strange Affection", and "Mary jane". You're right--very depeche-ish, and Camouflage-ish.

I love nearly everything they did up to their 3rd album, after that, well, went a bit down the drain for me personally - I can't recommend 'world without end' enough, one of the best 90es synthpopalbums from germany, including fabulous stuff like try to forget, perfect mind, slum child, your hands on my skin,... still playing that one a lot after more than ten years now!

I have a single for "Try To Forget" and a compilation of their songs called Zenh. That pretty much meets all my De/Vision needs at the moment. Have you heard Cetu Javu? Sort of the same thing. I have one or two albums by them somewhere...
