MP3 sharing - a simple request

Just to clarify, Is YouSendIt no longer an acceptable way to share music on these boards? Or should we just avoid posting common tracks that are easy to find and full-length albums? I've always tried to post tracks that were to the best of my knowledge hard to find. And I much prefer using yousendit, because it saves sooo much time compared to emailing each track individually to a number of different individuals. Thanks!

It is certainly not verboten to use yousendit, simply exercise some good judgement in choosing your selections as discussed previously. [;)]

I'm not calling for an end to posting Yousendit links. They expire quickly anyway. I just think we can all exercise good judgment like 2Nu stated.

Okay, do we want keep this as a "request-only" thing or are periodic offerings wanted anymore? I don't want to say "here are five songs I think you'd like" if it's going to be looked down upon or even passed over.

Just wanted to say that I've really enjoyed your posts. You've introduced me to so many groups that I never would have known to request or pursue. That's what I've enjoyed most about these boards, uncovering gems that I've never heard of. I think that kind of experience would be difficult if we were on a request-only basis. But I don't think that's what MikeP meant in this post (see his response to my question). Thanks again!
