I don't know if there was a more signature soundtrack to my new wave youth in SoCal than B-Movie's "Nowhere Girl". From those first pensive drumbeats, to the synth swirls, the girl laughing, and finally that gorgeous piano...I would stop in my tracks and listen intently when that song came on KROQ. And they would indeed play the entire extended version on some nights...sonic perfection!

Very aweome, Blir - especially the BBC session [8D] Dude, check out the remastered EP version on the Just Say Sire box set. Nowhere Girl never sounded so good as do all the other selections. Ownage.

Blir, I was a So Cal kid from 79-88, when I graduated. I was a Kroq listener and must agree with you. The two songs that bring back memories for me are; "nowhere Girl" and "How Soon is Now"!
