Back in the 80's I used to catch Johnny playing the clubs in Hollywood. And met him a several times. Say what you will about his life style his music was great. in 1995 I wrote and directed a show about his life, and again in 2000 and again in 2005. These links are from the never distributed soundtrack from the 2005 show. Sadly due to estate complications I will not be doing the show again. But I thought I'd share this here as he was as much of the 80's for me as The smiths, Bowie, and D. Mode. Hope someone enjoys this. Like all live things the show was much better, we even went on Dickie Barret morning show and played a few live tracks.
