It's the Del Lords - Burning in the Flame of Love. I think that the second song is by them too.

Woo-hoo! I finally get to ID a song! (Usually I'm the asker, not the answerer.)

The second song is "Feel Like Going Home" by the Del-Lords, off of their first album, "Frontier Days". "Burning in the Flame of Love" is also off that album.

I've heard all 4 Del-Lords albums and think "Johnny Comes Marching Home" is the best of the 4, but AllMusic and others give it middling reviews.

Here are "Soldier's Home" and "Love Lies Dying" from that album.

It's the name of his solo album. I'll see about posting a song or the whole album if you're on the hub.

ziffell-

Here are two more from "Johnny Comes Marching Home":

"Drug Deal"
http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?a ... 944DE6CA19

"Heaven"
http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?a ... D740C3BE78

I don't believe either of their first two albums were available on CD, although I haven't checked in years -- I have them on vinyl.
