Ahhh yes, they don't write 'em like this anymore:

<a href="http://www.cyberus.ca/~cs/Shuffle Demons - Out of my house, roach.mp3">Shuffle Demons - Out of my house, roach</a>

and the Paul Janz:

Still looking for these:

Also does anyone have anything by the Characters? If I'm getting the band correct, i remember liking a few of their tunes back in the mid 1980's when they'd get airplay on Rodney On The Rock's radio show. Specifically a song called "Maryanne"(Maryanne Maryanne, doesn't know who I am...")

Here's "Proud To Fall [Long Night's Journey Mix]" by Ian McCulloch:

http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?a ... 61024A5C80

I have a "Slow Version" of Mirror People that run 4:33 as opposed to the normal version that runs 4:07. Both are on "Earth Sun Moon". Is that what you're looking for?

That particular version of Love & Rocket's "Mirror People" is available on the excellent Hi-Bias label series CD "Retro-Active 5"

The particular version of "Mirror People" that i'm looking for isn't on "Earth, Sun, Moon". The only place i've ever seen it is on the 12" of the "Mirror People" single. It was one of the "B" sides and as as far as I can remember, It was one of several alternate versions of the song on that 12". The main difference (as far as I can remember) was that it was a faster, more drum heavy version. In other words, IT ROCKED!!!

I dunno if the link after your post is the one. I'll download it after I reply to your post. Here's hoping!

*edit*

That version ("Mirror People '88") may be it. It sounds as if it could be, just on account of it having a different name than the versions on "Earth, Sun, Moon". But seeing as how I can't hear it, I don't really know for sure.

BTW, THANKS for that Ian McCulloch link! That's the one i've been looking for for AGES! Much appreciated!!!

On the "Mirror People" 12":

A1. 88 Version Re-recorded
A2 88 Version Edited

B1 LP Version
B2 Slow Version
B3 Live Version

I actually think it may be the live version you're thinking of...(Sadly, I can't listen to my vinyl at the moment, but I do remember it being a rather kinetic version...)

Now that you labeled the 12" I think it was actually the "A" side. I do recall they had the version I like and then an edited version of the same thing.

I tried looking for that compilation CD linked, but at Amazon.com but they only go as far as version 4 of that compilation CD series. I tried Amazon.ca which did have Vol. 5 but while the CD is an average $14.99, the shipping is another $10.00! I'll wait and see if Amazon.com ever gets it one day.... [:(]

Oh, sorry for the hiccup. I was trying to cross out the songs on my list that I already aquired here using HTML code but... I failed!!!!! [xx(]
