I'm a big Dexy's fan, but I have never heard of a version from their 'soul' period.
There are earlier versions of 'soon', 'plan b' and 'liars a to e' from their pre-fiddle days but that is all I've heard. This is NOT to say that it doesn't exist, but I've never heard of it.

Listen, things have changed in the past few months when people were posting and requesting easy to find music. We have to be careful and since this is Mike P.'s site, we all have to respect what he wants. Marv is only doing what is expected of him as a moderator, and he did he right thing. Do not ask for a song that you can buy. It's as simple as that.
Some people may not know a song is available and it is helpful someone on the boards give info on where to purchase. And what does the ads for itunes, ideal copy, ect. have to do with the subject at hand? Rubellan says he didn't want to buy the cd, just the song. itunes is a great place to buy a song or two. I do it all the time.
