Anyone have or remember Espionage?

They had two great tracks that I remember "Love For sale" and "Sound Of Breaking Hearts". I have the LP, but would love to get one or both on mp3 from a CD. Anyone?

Have both LP's as CD-R. Like both releases, but the first is by far the better IMO. Another superb track from the first LP is 'The Great Escape'

Espionage - The Great Escape. Sorry the track cuts off at end. On my CD-R, it just flows into the next track, but when uploaded to PC, this is the effect unfortunately. Still, a great song to check out.

Unfortunately, track 1 transitions right into track 2 also, thus they also sound cut off at the end on the PC upload. I am able to easily transition them naturally one into the other on my masters from vinyl and onto CD-R so they are just like on the record, but my PC is another story - not quite sure how to compensate for that without doing a fade job.

Only listening to the first album once I found it rather boring and the only tolerable song is "The Sound Of Breaking Hearts" and even that is a weak track, however, the second album titled 'E.S.P.' was a much better release and contained several amazing tracks such as "I Couldn't Get To Sleep Last Night", "In The Name Of Love", "Couldn't Hold Back The Tears", and "Turn Around"

"I Couldn't Get To Sleep Last Night" sounds a lot like something Nik Kershaw should have included on his album [:p]

Don't be turned off by devo's comments about the first release, unless you think the track I posted, The Great Escape, sucks. If you think this song is that shitty, then he is right on the money. He and I have music tastes clearly from different universes....you be the judge - if you have not heard the song The Great Escape, and you think it sucks, maybe I am alone in my belief this first LP is worth getting in a amjor way. I just know some of my ultimate favorites LP's or artists are ones critics have laambasted over the years, and I am glad I had the sense to find out for myself. I always thought this track was exceptionally catchy, very good. BUT, to each their own....
