Ian Lloyd 'Slip Away" anyone have this?

This one has been on my list forever. Also Tim Scott 'Swear" Would love to find mp3s of both.

"Slip Away" was written by Ric Ocasek and should have been a big Cars hit since it really didn't conquer radio on behalf of Lloyd. Ben Orr is on bass and backing vocals, Ric Ocasek pipes in on backing vocals and rhythm guitar, and Jimmy Crespo plays the very new wavey guitar -- it's Aerosmith meets the Cars with Stories lead vocalist!

"Slip Away" was written by Ric Ocasek and should have been a big Cars hit since it really didn't conquer radio on behalf of Lloyd. Ben Orr is on bass and backing vocals, Ric Ocasek pipes in on backing vocals and rhythm guitar, and Jimmy Crespo plays the very new wavey guitar -- it's Aerosmith meets the Cars with Stories lead vocalist!

Actually I'm pretty sure at the time that Slip Away was a Top 40 hit for Ian.

Near-Top 40 hit. Peaked at #50, I think. (Or somewhere around there -- I'll check when I get home.) Not that I expect Joe Viglione to know that.

According to that self-same anthology, the song was composed by Ric Ocasek, and the version that appears on the set is a demo (previously unreleased). To the best of my knowledge, the Cars never recorded the song for release otherwise.
