For twenty years I have wanted the songs from the film's collaboration band "the Looters." Paul Simonon on bass, Steve Jones on guitar and Paul Cook played drums. I don't know who the singer was... Good tunes on this early 80s soundtrack. There is a band called the Looters, but not the same group from the movie... Any help?

It was Paul Simmenon (Clash) on bass, Steve Jones (Sex Pistols) on guitar, Paul Cook (Sex Pistols) on drums, and actor Ray Winstone on vocals.

They never released anything, contrary to the "Original soundtrack available on..." in the credits.

There were 2 full songs by the band, "Join The Professionals", and "(You've Been) Conned Again". The closest you can get to these songs is a 7" released by Cook/Jones' band The Professionals where they re-recorded "Join The Professionals", and the pop-punk band Sloppy Seconds covered "Conned Again" on the b-side of an early single of theirs.

Some versions of the movie, notably the A&E version from the early 90's omitted "Conned Again" from the film, as well as Black Randy & the Metro Squad's "I Slept In An Arcade".
