OK, before anyone feels the need to open their mouth, I am full aware that this request may be stretching the boundaries of this board. HOWEVER, this track is frought with 80s trivia. Here goes...I am looking for Dear Michael by Kim Fields--Tootie from Facts Of Life. She recorded this record in '83 as a response to the Michael Jackson hysteria that was going on at the time. I have this on vinyl, but not on an MP3. Might anyone out there who has a fondness for obscure 80s soul records be able to help me out? It's a pretty nostolgic track with a pretty cool beat box behind it. It sounds very Janet Jackson and this was out before Janet was even into her Control phase. Now, Michael himself had a song called "Dear Michael" in the 70s about a fan letter he received (a fictional account, I'm sure). Fields also released a follow-up record to her "Dear Michael" called "He Loves Me He Loves Me Not", a club track, which I'll post below if anyone's interested.
