Suburban Lawns - b-sides, live tracks, demos

Postby DevoManiac101 » Sat Mar 17, 2007 6:13 am

Hello,

Looking for some Suburban Lawns tracks, can anyone help? I'm in search of b-sides, live tracks, and demos

I heard "My Boyfriend" for the first time yesterday thanks to Glok and I am interested in hearing more rare tracks

I have both the LP and EP so anything else is much welcomed

Thanks,
Justin

Antoine here from France.I bought the LP & the single the same day in an obscure parisian shop some 25 years ago & was amazed by the quality of the band.

They were from the LA area i think;does someone from Southern Ca. KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM?
By the way,if somebody heard about the Weirdos & Tito Larriva's musical projects,i'd be grateful(the PLUGZ weren't new-wave but what a band!).

I remember seeing an article about Sue Tissue being a suburban soccer mom in the LA area. I'd really love to see a CD release - it'd be the perfect thing for their singles, one LP and one EP on a single disc. There used to be a Saturday Night Live performance of Janitor on YouTube but the bastards of course took it down. A little known fact is that Jonathan Demme (!!!) did their video for Gidget Goes to Hell, but I've never seen it. Again, nothing on YouTube. [:(]

Myspace has both versions of Janitor on video (the official & the live version from New Wave Theater) be sure to type in "Janitor" and not "Suburban Lawns" to find the video's...
