I really love 3D. Formed from the ashes of Box Of Toys, they released 3 great singles in 84-85, (the vocalist of Box Of Toys went on to form The Light)

Here's the video for "Dance To Believe" which is equal parts awful and wonderful.

<iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/PeEzHa51-sQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

An unreleased version of Nearer opens the album. The extended version (included in the bonus tracks) is way better... It was available in a holographic single sided 7" among other formats.

<iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/XPKJEMTE0ro" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I Hear The Rhythm is the only released track that doesn't show up in one form or another. It was the b-side of "Break The Fix(Ation)" I've included it in the bonus tracks as well.

<iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/l6d1LDDNegw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

But my favorite song on the album is "The Club" which shamefully only has 15 views on Youtube! It was also the b-side to Nearer.

The album, never released, would've been called "Dance To Believe." There is no artwork to speak of, but the artwork from their singles is really cool...

The album is really great and should be heard, so feel free to spread it around. See the track listing and download link below...

Hi Dominik, thanks for the sahe but why did you upload it to this useless Mediafire thing? I have been trying to dl it since last night but no luck. It keeps saying repair your dl and keeps you in the loop over and over again. Please should stop giving business to this scam of the earth called Mediafire.

Mediafire used to be good, but now its terrible,i had 100s of edits stored with them, but they deleted the files almost straight away, thats mediafire for yer!!

Maybe using a multiple file host is the best option, thats just my opinion.

Very nice share Dominik500!! Thank you for this!

As a side note, the MediaFire link worked fine for me on the first try.

Depositfiles is a good host with fast speeds and resumable downloads. After hearing "Nearer", I'd really like to hear this album now. They kind of remind me ABC and Blancmange in a way. Great share Dominik! Please do upload it to Depositfiles.

And also, I found this cool live recording of Nearer uploaded by their keyboardist. I shared just about every 3D video I could find, so why not add this one.

Okay, I went out and got a haircut, and when I came back, 3D had uploaded to Depositfiles... so, anyone who couldn't, hopefully can download it now. Enjoy!

http://depositfiles.com/files/0vb4tmubj

Also, yeah this isn't the X-Ray Eyes band... Discogs lists it as the 18th band with the name 3D. They used to go by 3D (Fish In Sea) but i guess that was too wordy and weird. I like it tho!

Thanks for this Dominik500! It's been a while since there was a share that really interested me on here. Reminds me of when I first discovered Torchomatic.
