Request: Information Society - Running 1984 12"

Postby Analoge Mechanik » Tue Apr 23, 2013 8:31 pm

Hi all.

I've been curious for a long time about the first release by Information Society, the Running 12" on Wide Angle here: http://www.discogs.com/Information-Soci ... ase/341550 and how much different it would sound compared to the later versions.

Very rare and apparently nowhere to be found for listening, even at Youtube, anyone got it? I hope so.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I'm pretty sure the original is on the Creatures of Influence compilation, now available digitally on Apocryphon: Electro Roots 1982-1985.

Great song, and I wonder if the radio version is available? And if maybe someone has it and willing to share?[:)]

The Creatures of Influence version is the same as the one on the 12" here: http://www.discogs.com/Information-Soci ... ase/237687 and its German counterpart here: http://www.discogs.com/Information-Soci ... ase/172195 , all three records were released in 1985.

Already checked those as I have the Apocryphon cd, but the 12" I'm after was released in 1984 and the names of the verisons are different as are the timings (if they're correct). I've read rumours of it having awful vocals and blah blah. Most probably the versions will be worse but I have never been able to actually listen to this specific release and am really curious about it...

Well, it seems that this is a rare one indeed... nobody has even a bad rip of it?
