I`ve always loved Livin In The Box, but didnt care that much for Richard Darbyshire`s solo work afterwards, so I am glad I found out about this early band of his.

Although they apparently released only two singles, this one is quite something.

Great A-side and an even better ballad on the flip-side (could have been vice-versa, IMHO)

A - Eyes Of The World
B - After The Ship`s Gone Down

If anybody`s got Love Tumbles Down (1983), the other single to share...I`d really appreciate it. [:)]

Zu Zu Sharks release 3 singles (as far as I know):
Big boys*/Spies* (1982) (polydor)
Love Tumbles Down* / Whe hammer falls* (1983) (EMI)
Eyes of the World* / After the Ship's Gone Down* (1984) (EMI)

but i don't know where comes the following tracks:
Changes(This was shown on BBC1's Saturday Superstore)
On the wrong side of the line* (b-side of changes?)

changes vid:

I have some mp3 of zu zu sharks (*) but the sound quality is so crappy...[:(]

Its funny that the single Big Boys isnt mentioned on discogs.....and neither is Changes. [?]

So I guess the question remains why this promising band never made it at all.....they had the tunes and the looks as well (I guess [:D])

The reason should be then - one of the silliest names ever, right? [;)]
