SHARE: The Thought (1982) FLAC

The Thought were a Dutch band who released 3 LP's between 1982-1986. They can be described as 60's influenced Psychedelic New Wave. Their 1982 debut album was released in The Netherlands, though later appeared in the U.S. in a drastically different version. Several songs were re-recorded/remixed with better production for the U.S. release, and some different songs were added in place of others. Despite the wealth of material from this period, the albums are spotty but have some good tracks. I just remastered the songs that I like from the albums, and am providing them here. This includes 5 of the 10 original LP tracks, plus a non-LP single and several of the re-recordings/remixes:

Part 2: http://www.mediafire.com/download/lrr45 ... HT%20(1982)%202.zip

I have never heard of this band, but I'm going to check them out. Thanks for the share. Your transfers are always a pleasure to listen to! You are one of a kind! (Listening to "I Had Too Much To Dream Last Night [Single Version]" right now and am pleasantly surprised so far). I still cannot believe that this is from vinyl. [:0]

Loved it Scott, good work.
At first, listening to it on my crappy labtop speakers, I thought, this isn't any good. But once I transferred these lossless tracks to my full stereo system, fantastic. A bit of a 60's psychedelic throwback with a wave twist.
Went to my archives and pulled out the RA video, Eight Miles High. Whole different sound from 1985.
My version source is only 256 kbps on the sound, does anyone have a lossless version of this track, The Thought - Eight Miles High, 4:27 in length. Post it and I'll use it on the remastered video and upload it for all here.

I have the whole 1985 LP remastered from years back. I will try to post it later this week. It is my favorite of their LP's.

You got it my friend, as soon as Scott gets a chance to upload his remastered capture, which will really set the video, OFF, I'll post it here.
