Share: ROCKETS - unreleased mixes from 80ies

A small Estonian bootleg label has recently released an LP with a few previously unreleased mixes of Italo-French synth project ROCKETS' well known tracks from their longplays through the 80ies:

As this is a very limited - and unofficial - release for a small circle of fans only, I would dare to offer it to the forum:

1. Atomic (Remixed Extended Version)
2. Radiate (Remix)
3. Radio Station (Extended Version)
4. Ideomatic (Remix)
5. Some Other Place, Some Other Time (Remixed Extended Version)
6. Star Vision (Extended Version)
7. Space Rock (First Tom Moulton Mix)

Thank you! Rockets should be more known in the English-speaking world :D

"Star vision" is simply an album version though. Would've been cool to hear the 7" version, it's shorter by more than two minutes - but nowhere to be found unfortunately. Have to buy a single, I guess...

No. Album version is 5:50. This one is 5:58, it is present on:
1982 single

and
A Long Journey (CD2) - Rare Tracks 1974-2003
https://www.discogs.com/release/2118196 ... ng-Journey

as Extended version

They are one and the same, unfortunately (just listened to both to be fully sure). That was a common trick in the early 1980s (and even now album versions are passed as "extended" ones, like I've seen with, say, "Hymn").
