Guys, thank you for the interest and in what strange places we sometimes find our favourite music :D

Not to miss a beat, here are the next two volumes. Baumann's one is among my best-loved covers ever, I cannot listen to the original (never could but even more so after hearing his take). The German language version is even better! Nash's version of "Dead man's curve" is really cool with that prolonged monologue, I like it immensely (Nash is generally cool, though, I recommend his stuff to everyone, sad he left us so early not getting the long-overdue recognition). Finally, Taco's cover, however overplayed and presumably cheesy, is still a very good refashioning and never loses its appeal with me.

Volume 05 - Yellow Magic Orchestra to Frankie Goes to Hollywood

01. Yellow Magic Orchestra - Day Tripper [The Beatles]
02. Midge Ure - Living in the Past [Jethro Tull]
03. The Flying Lizards - Move on up [Curtis Mayfield]
04. Depeche Mode - Route 66 [Nat King Cole]
05. Klaus Nomi - The Twist [Chubby Checker]
06. Silicon Teens - Just Like Eddie [Heinz]
07. Peter Baumann - Strangers in the Night [Frank Sinatra]
08. Blondie - The Tide is High [The Paragons]
09. Associates - Gloomy Sunday [Billie Holiday]
10. Frankie Goes to Hollywood - (Do You Know the Way to) San Jose? [Dionne Warwick]

Volume 06 - Tears for Fears to Blue Rondo a la Turk

01. Tears for Fears - Sea Song [Robert Wyatt]
02. Nash the Slash - Dead Man's Curve [Jan & Dean]
03. The Thompson Twins - Revolution [The Beatles]
04. Antena - The Boy from Ipanema [Astrud Gilberto]
05. Ronny - If You Want Me to Stay [Sly & The Family Stone]
06. Taco - Puttin' on the Ritz [Fred Astaire]
07. Devo - Working in the Coalmine [Lee Dorsey]
08. Power Station - Get It on (Bang a Gong) [T. Rex]
09. Thomas Dolby - I Scare Myself [Dan Hicks & His Hot Licks]
10. Blue Rondo a la Turk - I Spy for the FBI [Jamo Thomas]

Cheers! :D

Ooops, due to workload missed the usual "reveal day" :D Still, better late than never, here's new volumes, hope Sat'day this week I'll get on track. Some interesting covers here, especially from the vastly underrated Karel Fialka, and The Pretenders' one is great, like it very much. Simply Red's pne is masterful vocally, a nice (re)discovery. While Coil is... well, different. Anyway, hope you'll enjoy these two, too!

01. Billy Idol - Mony Mony [Tommy James & the Shondells]
02. Sparks - Fingertips [Stevie Wonder]
03. The Bangles - September Gurls [Big Star]

10. Shriekback - Get Down Tonight [KC & the Sunshine Band]

02. Krisma - I'm Not in Love [10cc]

Thank you very much, Paul, I appreciate the high marks from you :D

This time I'm on time and to close the second dozen, here are volumes 19 and 20. Missing Scientists cover is very cool, one of my faves, Sisters of Mercy's good, very imposing but a bit drawn out, there are quite a few minimal synth takes on classics which are, hmmm, different, Wang Bros is Tik from Shock/Tik & Tok, and Stephan Eicher went on from those humble beginnings to a superstar status in France. All in all, a varied but entertaining bunch.

Volume 19 - Missing Scientists to Random Hold

01. Missing Scientists - Big City, Bright Lights [Dandy Livingstone]
02. The Damned - Alone Again or [Love]
03. The Sisters of Mercy - Gimme Shelter [The Rolling Stones]
04. Honey Bane - Baby Love [The Supremes]
05. Mood Six - I Saw the Light [Todd Rundgren]
06. Orange Juice - L.O.V.E. Love [Al Green]
07. Red Rockers - Eve of Destruction [Barry McGuire]
08. Beasts in Cages - My Coo Ca Choo [Alvin Stardust]
09. The News - Hole in My Shoe [Traffic]
10. Random Hold - We Can Work It out [The Beatles]

Link: https://mega.nz/folder/Hk0kiARY#bBRLAyR5I8tzh-lFGrob2w

Volume 20 - Vietnam Veterans to BB Gabor

01. Vietnam Veterans - The Days of Pearly Spencer [David McWilliams]
02. Stephen Eicher - Sweet Jane [The Velvet Underground]
03. Denial - California Dreaming [The Mamas & The Papas]
04. 39, Lyon Street - Kites [Simon Dupree & The Big Sound]
05. Bette Bright - Shoorah Shoorah [Betty Wright]
06. The Wang Bros - While My Guitar Gently Weeps [The Beatles]
07. Anna Domino - Land of My Dreams [Aretha Franklin]
08. Rinder & Lewis - Willie and the Hand Jive [Johnny Otis Show]
