SHARE NEW: An Angel Guide To The 80s Vol. 2

Postby Rissan » Mon Feb 23, 2026 1:18 am

Original also started as one of the volumes for "The Continuous Beauty Of The Unknown 80s" series, this is the second side-project created when digging the 1980s "Angel" songs on Discogs. Again it surprised me by the amount of tracks written in the eighties with "Angel" in the title.

So far the result: over 10 single discs of music. Learned from the experience with the "Ghost" guide it was an easy decision to conclude, that it was clear that this would become a standalone project too. Again this created the opportunity to go for the well-known names as well.

The amount of found tracks does not match the "Ghost" guide but still it is quite an amount.

The result so far is at least 6 volumes, 5 double discs and one single disc with the bonus material, featured in The Unknown Beauty Of The 80s series.

Please note, this in NO way is intended to take away sales from any of the artists included here
but rather a way to discover or rediscover these timeless masterpieces.
Please support these artists and bands if they should have material available! They deserve all the credit!

Tracks may vary in loudness.

Up for one week.

Yeah, first thing I do is run the mp3s through "wxMP3gain" when I get them... I drop it down to 90 or 89 db (and go in the setting to automatically lower below that if still clipping). Some folks like it loud, some folks don't, but I want it where it does not hurt my speakers if I turn it up.

Too bad it doesn't work on Flac files... technical issues that makes it more problematic.
