SHARE NEW: The Continuous Beauty Of The Unknown 80s Vol. 59

Postby Rissan » Fri Mar 13, 2026 12:10 am

It is Friday again so time for the first time of this series of compilations I present you B-sides Themselves.

The past years I mainly search for 7" singles. These usually contain a shortened, 7" version of a song, and the B-side is usually a track that does not appear on an album. The big names from the 80s have since released reissues with bonus tracks, but for smaller bands and artists, it was sometimes limited to just a few singles, or at most an album. That is what makes the search so interesting.

The B-sides are sometimes little gems that I do not want to keep to myself. So here is the first volume entirely dedicated to the B-side.

Note: The first version of this album contained Dutch artists as well. But I decided to replace those by international artists, since I want to come with a dedicated album of Dutch New Wave again. Not sure yet if this will be a new series or just a volume within this one.

Please note, this in NO way is intended to take away sales from any of the artists included here but rather a way to discover or rediscover these timeless and sometimes unknown masterpieces.
Please support these bands if they should have material available! They deserve all the credit!

Up for a week.

01. The Carruthers - All I Know About Today (2:52)
02. Me & The Heat - Wishes (4:00)
03. Furniture - To Gus (2:47)
