For the fans of the New Models, after the band broke up Casey Lindstrom formed a new band, Shake The Faith. This is "Skip On A Record" from 1987.

Great posts Randy. I was especially appreciative of Shake The Faith. I used to love those guys. I would see them back in the day at Narcissus in Kenmore Square on Heavy Metal Wednesdays. They used to do a great cover of ACDC's Walk All Over You. You don't by chance have that available, do you?

Great link. I remember a lot of that footage from way way back in the day. I specifically remember the Aerosmith footage right at the end. That's a shot from when they were at the Manning Bowl in Lynn back in September of 85. I must say the part that left me most speechless was the WCOZ commercials. I never imagined ever seeing those again. The classic Pete Townshend scene with the guitar over his head was on the COZ long sleeve tee shirts. Thanks for the post.

Hey Gopher, my pleasure. Ah, dear old WCOZ! I credit that station for helping me turn on to New Wave. What? They were a hard rock station! Exactly. "WCOZ--Kick Ass Rock 'n' Roll!" That was my big sister's favorite station and I HATED hearing all that Led Zeppelin, Areosmith, Jethro Tull, Foreigner,Heart (Oh god, did I ever hate Heart), and Steve Miller pouring from her stereo. I said, there's gotta be something out there for me...and this ain't it! I was listening to old doo-wop songs on Little Walter's Time Machine for a while there.

Then came Soft Cell, A Flock of Seagulls, Human League, Eurythmics, The B-52's, Devo, and Talking Heads. My music had arrived.

What year was it that WCOZ became WZOU, "The Zoo"? I think it was 1983.

Nevertheless, that's the Boston scene I grew here about, so all the names and faces in that clip ring of old familiarity.

You can see Mike Zaitchik perform again. He is playing with the James Cotton Band at Mohegan Sun Casino's Wolf Den, April 4th.

HI all, I just stumbled upon site while looking for info on The New Models. I was totally shocked to find a group of people who were/are fans of The Rings, New Models, etc. Anyway, I'm just curious if anybody knows what Casey Lindstrom is up to these days, Is he still playing music at all?
