These aren't directly OMD tracks, but are tracks from the greatest OMD knock off band ever ""Invisible College" they are disbanded right now but made their mark with the songs they put out before their demise. Well worth seeking out. http://s42.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1THB ... GFV21Q9I9A

It's amazing these versions never made it to CD.

Some are.
Messages 10" version is on the Best of OMD album
Extended Souvenir is on the remastered Architecture and Morality CD
Concrete Hands is on the Navigation B-Sides album

Hopefully, Genetic Engineering and Telegraph 12" versions will be on the Dazzleships CD that supposedly to be released sometime this year.

AND don't forget the new OMD reunion cd and tour as well :)

As previously reported, 2006 could well be the OMD Renaissance year with the reformation of the band now officially announced. To recap, Andy McCluskey, Paul Humphreys, Mal Holmes and Martin Cooper will be returning as OMD with concerts and a new album on the way. Joining them for live shows will be Stuart Kershaw. Here's what's on the schedule:

OMD perform Architecture & Morality live
A brand new OMD album
Extensive European tour
Remastered Dazzle Ships album
OMD DVD
Unreleased material album
Outside of those plans, don't forget that Paul Humphreys and Claudia Brücken will be embarking as OneTwo with an album and live shows on the way. Plus, Mal Holmes will be continuing to work with more artists via his Muzic2Burn project.

<br>In 1978 McCluskey was with Dalek I Love You for a brief time. Once he left Dalek, he joined with Humphreys and Paul Collister to form Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark. So grab this one if you like

I may as well join the fun. Probably not as rare as some of yours but here's "Satellite," which was the B-side of "Dreaming."

Does anyone remember a weird alternate version of Tesla Girls that was on a European cassette release of Junk Culture? It had no "such-and-such mix" name on it. McClusky was sort of talking through it and it was slower and strange sounding. Not danceable! I'll try to dig my mix tape out of storage and burn whatever's left of it to mp3.

Also, does anyone remember hearing a live version of "Waiting for the Man" that had a full horn section, from the Crush tour era? I think I prefer the cold, early version, but it was a really interesting reworking.

Are you talking about the "Extra Mix"? It was released as a UK 12" (same sleeve as original 12" with a sticker indicating the different mix).

There were also different US remixes.
