Requests * 80's club *

Discuss hard-to-find or out-of-print New Wave and '80s Alternative, and share a few songs along the way.
NOTE: requesting songs that are entirely unrelated to the genres discussed here or easily found on CD is strongly discouraged and posts will be enforced as needed.

Got to go with 86 on this one ---yes, some of the original posters requests are difficult to find...half are available on any p2p site cuz Ive found them there --the other half Ive never checked. my answer to everything is check LIMEWIRE...I check there first for a couple months---I always use NWO sharing as a last ditch effort....I will check out soul seek too....

don't hate 86 cuz he's beautiful.

oh yeah ---I think long lists are bunk too (although I was guilty of this once my own self)

In general it seems that it would be best just to send the links via email. It's only one extra step. Having the links directly exposed on the site seems like a liability.

Wow, Lion King analogies...no, most people here are far too polite to point out that what you and others here are doing falls outside of the boards original intent. Luckily, I don't suffer from politeitis.

This board has become a haven for lazy asses to post a want list then pick cherries. Also true is the fact that there was a consensus among board members that a separate board for dj's not be created. likewise there was a reinforcement of the obscure/out of print rule.

You really expect me to believe that you can't get your head around that concept? You and the others here who want to ignore what has been made clear prove what selfish individuals you are.

And stick that live and let live shit...lame doesn't begin to describe it. In other words, I'll do what ever the hell I want...yeah, that says respect to me.

Eight 6, Big Bri, Swampthing and Rotator are right. Magician, if you do indeed have any of these tracks for Phat Phreddy, I'd appreciate it if you e-mailed them directly to him or uploaded them to a file hosting service like yousendit.com with his e-mail address.

I'm locking this thread. Going forward, I think it'll be a better idea if this area was used for general requests for songs to be e-mailed, not posted. Unless of course it really is rare, out of print or hard to get.

Phat Phred, you may want to look into joining the Hub. Once you have the software, set up, you can look into thousands of other hubs too.
