Hi all, first post here, reading thru all the post made me join up.[8D] Thanks for all the link and the memories, grew up in that late 70's, early 80's scene. You can probably tell by my usermane who my fave band was, must have seen them 20+ times.[:0] Man I miss those times, hitting the Rat, Channel, Storyville, Jumbos, Jaspers, Johnathan Swifts, etc, many drunken and good rockin' times at those clubs.[8)] Also big fan of The New Models, Pastiche, Gary Shane, Salem 66, Bristols, HSR, Lou Miami, City Thrills, Classic Ruins...just too many to name, you'll see me around a bit more.[:p]

Hi Tileboy, shame nothing is on video for them except a couple beyond crappy videos on YT. Did recently get a live CD of them from the Paradise in '79, good rocking show but as good as Big City Rock was think the stuff they did after was even better.[8)]

Thanks for that notlame link, hadn't heard of that site. Used to have Big City Rock on vinyl too, along with too many other local legends which I left behind when I moved away. The CD on allmusic I have already, got it from this site, they also had a lot more Boston stuff from back in that day too which I got like the Orbits and Classic Ruins. http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/atlanticsmusic

It looks like you've uploaded a TON of stuff that I've been trying to find for years...
But when I click on any of the links to download these files I get a message saying that the file is not found. Is this because these files wee posted so long ago that they are no longer active?

Is there a way that I can still get access to any of thee songs.

Probers lead man Rick Mendes passed away awhile ago. Would love it if his family/friends could get a retro disc produced of the Probers catalog!! He later had a Blues band Blueswagon that had some great tunes if you like the blues!!

As for Blind Dates, check out Coops blog--back before I had reaquired a turntable he was able to pick up a copy of "Don't".
