Their first 7" as far as I know. If it is available on CD, dunno.

Scream Down At Me is not from any regular CC release. It was an early 80s vinyl b-side. Taken all by itself, one might not even realize this was even China Crisis, it is so different from their usual sound. Quite quirky and urgent sounding. They have a history of putting out b-sides that could stand up to many artists A sides. Quite wonderful instrumentals also, and they really do require pristine quiet to truly appreciate the beauty of some of them.

yes 'scream down at me' dont sound like classic CC at all. faster, more urgent sounding. funny tho but it reminds me of later Kajagoogoo sans Limahl

Hi Latebar.
I actually had gotten "Dockland" yesterday from BigBri for myself and I must have deleted it by mistake.
If he reads this and wants to post it, great.
Otherwise I will get it from him again and post it here.
And yes, I did email you. I don't know what happened.[?]

Understood. Ihave that 2CD collection. I meant to say it was not on any regular studio release, other than with that 2CD collection faeturing the second CD with all b-sides, or A-sides not from their regular studio CD's

Ahhhh---nice to see all the China Crisis action on this thread. As a seasoned CC fan, I am going to impart on you all a real rare CC gem! Lucky you!
This was the B-side to 'The Highest High", and it took me ages to find this mp3.....GREAT little instrumental called 98.6 (which may or may not be an actual radio station - if anybody has any insight to the title - lemme know)...super happy and really captures CC's studio time with Walter Becker (Steely Dan Fame)...here'ygo!
