Seeing as we're discussing House of Love, let me recommend Guy Chadwick's solo CD, "Lazy Soft Slow and Low", released in 1998. It's really mellow and quite gorgeous. Try and hear "This Strength" or the David Bowie/Iggy Pop cover "Fall In Love With Me" - they are well worth the effort to seek out.
