Before I make a fool out of myself, what is the difference between a dub version and an instrumental version of a song? I recall this being discussed a while ago, yet I cannot yield any search results.

A Dub version of a song is usually considered an instrumental but with more of an edge to it, for example ... in a dub mix of a song sometimes the song will be rearranged also parts of the lyrics will be added in as with an instrumental all you get is a track with music that is basically the same as the single or album version. My favorite dub mix of all time is "AEIOU Sometimes Y" (DUB mix) by Ebn-Ozn
