I'm looking for a few new wave recordings in good quality digital form:
The Sinceros - The Sound of Sunbathing
The Brains - s/t
The Lucy Show - Mania
The Smashchords - anything

I have tons of obscure and hard to find late 70's/early 80's stuff I can exchange. This can be done either on Soulseek or on cd or DVD by mail. I'd prefer them to be at least 320 kbs, but anything 192 or better is acceptable. If we go the cd route, I'd prefer them in digital form, unburned.

I have The Lucy Show - Mania (1987) 320 bitrate,i can share for you in SoulSeek

I'm Rokkr on slsk, just like about anywhere else on the net.
Bear in mind a lot of my list has been burned onto DVD's as I just don't have the HD storage space. So if you want something I've listed or something else I may have, ask me, as I'll have to load it onto my HD to make it available.

As for the hub, i joined a while back, but at the time all I had was a dialup connection and I never used it. I've forgotten how I registered or any of the info about it by now.

Could you send me an email explaining how to operate slsk. I have it installed but somehow I don't see how to find you all. All I see is the chat rooms but how do I know where to look for you. I'm also a little bit irritated as there are no servers to connect to like on
emu..

Right click on the user window, click add user, then type in the nickname, i.e. Rokkr or coop41. That user will then show in the window. If he's connected, he'll have a blue icon, if not, brownish red. Right click again for other options, such as send message or browse files.

Well, I joined soulseek and have both your user names on my list. Is there a group or more members I need to add? BTW, I'm on there as whomod. As soon as I figure out how to share stuff, I will.

Does anyone have any Mary's Danish to share BTW?

Well I've managed to get the Lucy Show, thanks to darkir for that.

And I think I've found a 192 copy of the Sinceros on slsk.

Wasted Youth, not the thrash band that came later.
They have a compilation album called Inner Depth I'd love to find.

Here is a version of Inner Depth that I picked up a little while ago.

Despite the fact that it seems to have been sourced from a CD it has some record hiss. Its on my list to fix up with Magix Audio Cleaning Lab, which does a great job on these things, but honestly, this one's just not high on the priority list.

Thanks. Yeah, I found the Solarise site too and I'll eventually buy the CD from them.
As for the hiss or noise, the album is/was available on LP as well, so perhaps that was the source.
