Eighth Wonder was a british pop group in the late 80s. Actress Patsy Kensit was the lead singer. Their other big hit was "I'm Not Scared" which was written and produced by the Pet Shop Boys. On a shallow note, their videos were extremely worthwhile because Patsy was a knock-out. [:)]

I have a CD single for "I'm Not Scared" somewhere, but this is the version I have already ripped:

Eighth Wonder (Feat. Patsy Kensit): I'm Not Scared (Razormaid Mix)

I like the song on its own merits. But Patsy Kensit -- liked her since Absolute Beginners.

Didn't she become the girlfriend of one of the oasis band members? even one of the brothers?

... I'd still go for Terri Nunn

Oh, and prior to that, she was the girlfriend of one of the Simple Minds. Maybe she's now the girlfriend of one of the Arctic Monkeys guys.

The Pet Shop Boys did have a hand in writing Fearless so it's not too surprising that the album sounds like them. The album briefly scraped the top 50 before disappearing.

As for the music it's nice enough, but with the PSB around it was to be expected that Eighth Wonder didn't last too long Patsy or no Patsy.

Fearless was the second cd? Never released in US then. She must like rock stars, i think she also "dated" Michael Hutchinsence of INXS.

Was Fearless similar to the first cd?

As far as I know <I>Fearless[/i] was their one and only full length album.
