I have some (specifically early stuff). Will check it out when I get home from work. Havign said that, you should be able to get Angels CD's pretty easily on the net?! (over here you find 'em in $5 bins all over the place) [:D]

I've got almost a complete discography. Tell me what you're looking for and chances are I have it.

BTW They were called Angel City in the US to avoid confusion with the band Angel who had the album Helluvaband

thanks TM. Also Ollie for the offer. Unfortunately Oz bands don't feature too readily on p2p so i have taken to sharing all my oz music so that the rest of the world can get access to it. There has been some great stuff and once it has aged it just disappears. I do have Angels Greatest Hits on vinyl but my turntable gave up the ghost halfway through ripping my record collection and i am not sure if replacing it is the way to go. maybe there will actually be more sales as people discover what's on offer'

pity there isn't a rare oz music site just like this one

Brian Cadd, Axiom, Spectrum, Daddy Cool,Richard Clapton, Mike McLellan, Split Enz, Sherbert, The Reels, The Cruel Sea, the Go Betweens, Russell Morris to name but a few

appreciate these guys aren't 80s but they did some great stuff

This is the only song of theirs (and I'm afraid that being North American, I only knew them as Angel City) that I can remember being played on the radio:

Angel City - Marseilles - Warning: Not New Wave, but man cannot live on synthpop alone....

If you ever come to Oz, don't say that out loud [:D] hehe

Glad you liked Big Pig ziffell. Will dig out some other rare-ish Oz tunes.

No kidding?! Jeez, when I went on an Angels bender a few years ago I was thrilled to find that I could get almost the entire catalog from Whammo. (I did find the Face To Face compilation here, but that was lucky.) Whammo has ceased to be, which blows because the exchange rate made all of my purchases very friendly from a price standpoint. I've got everything they did except for an EP and a couple of recent remasters. (With bonus tracks. Gotta find a source for those.) Let me know how I can help.

Tragic...I get it...how about this dance band that had...1 hit here I think- FAN CLLUB "Don't Let Me Fall Alone"? The same ilk, prob..

How about posting 2 GREAT (I DO MEAN THAT) Band's remixes (If anybody has them):

INXS- Listen Like Theieves - Extended

MIDNIGHT OIL- Beds Are Burning- Tamarama Remix

I'm hoping somebody has dig trans of these, as I do have both already off vinyl..
