Ok. I am fully aware that now, posting for the first time in weeks....that I am posting THIS....in HERE.
Instead of starting a thread in NNNW section talking about having probes stuck in my eyes and going for surgery and then after lots of weird-ass testing being told it would probobly fail and render me more blind than I am now......

I just decided to destroy some of my credibility as a new waver.,..

Because honestly...I love the 70s too.

Lovin Spoonful - Summer in the City-

Your boss has some good taste as far as this song is concerned. I really do love this song. It was one of my favorites when I was little(er). I love those vintage retro electric pianos...and I have finally trained my baby DX-7 to make those sounds for me.

I have a soft spot for Tina....but not for stuff that sounds like this. I am a fan of the THUNDERDOME soundtrack. I mean really...what a movie. That movie kicked ass on all levels.

Tina Turner - What's Love Got to do With it?

http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?a ... 403F78CCFD

Now...the Animals...House of the Rising Sun.
Like Stairway to Heaven, this song suffers from about 1,581,000 covers (last time I counted [guessed] ).
But nothing beats the original in some cases...and here we have it.

http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?a ... DC2D9DD800

Great song...Again I have a soft spot for the Oldies (this is a strange series of stories...you should ask me about them)

Ahhh...on to Frankie Vallie.
I always loved this song since I was about 9...and I had no idea what it was. Thankfully I was a lot dumber then and forgot part of me fell into the trap of some potentially nasty 70s pop.
This song...has some cool pianos and synths in it...I just generally like it. Its kinda disco...and all 70s...so its all good.

Now this one....is not even a song!
WHY WOULD ANYONE HAVE THIS SONG??!?!
WHAT KIND OF A PERSON WOULD ACTUALLY WANT THIS S....

wait.... damnit....
*shamefully grumbles* Poison - Every Rose has its....thorn.

Now...
Ray Parker Jr. - Ghostbusters.
I was a fan of 80s pop as I was about to clear high school early.
I was a fan of this song... I'll admit. But the song creeps me out nowadays.
Because at the end of my technically senior year. I walked in on two friends of mine having sex- while this song was playing. That image has been burned into my eyes ever since...and I havent listened to the song....since.

Due to memories associated with the song...this one has not been checked for quality.

Holy cow!!! Thank you so much!!!

Frayo, You and I need to talk. That Frankie Valli song is an all-timer. I was also 9 when that was on the radio. Was one of my favorite songs that summer (along with Listen To What The Man Said by Wings). I remember hearing both those songs in the car when we would drive go "down the shore" in the summer. Great memories.

By the way, the link for the Animals is the same one for Lovin' Spoonful...

Don't worry about it, Med. I'm not a big fan of mixes, anyways (no offense).
