Here's a live version taken off of BBC radio of "You only tell me you love me when you're drunk," from a show they just did with an orchestra backing. The whole show is going to be broadcast on BBC Radio Saturday May 27, 9-10:30.

What a great thread, Marv. I love the Pet Shop Boys' stuff. I'd heard snippets from their site for the new album, and (again) they are in fine form. I think I enjoy their songs more for their lyrics than anything else. It doesn't hurt that their songs are catchy, too.

Heart was my favorite song off "Actually" and I was disappointed when they remixed it for single release, as it neglected the truer form of the song which I was accustomed. However, it still sounds very good.

I forgot to mention that I've been looking for the dub version of What Have I Done to Deserve This. I plunked this record on the record player yesterday, and I hated it when it would end and I'd have to go alllll the way over to the stereo and set the needle on the record AGAIN. Isn't there any other way?!

Thanks for those! I remember buying the U.S. 12" of this song and immediately becoming disappointed that NONE of the songs were the version I had heard on the radio. So, 20 years later I find what I'm looking for on the PopArtMix set. Now, though, I find that I really like all the versions.
