I saw this song listed with a bunch of other great songs, and I have never heard of it. Anyone have any band info? MP3s of any and all versions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply, Wavedancer101. I think you have the song you posted mixed up somehow though, because it is actually "So Far Away" by Staind, off the album "Shades Of Grey". [:)]
The only info I can find on the band Shades Of Grey, and the song "Worlds Apart", is that Razormaid remixed it around 1990.

Thanks for the tip eight6, I'll drop him a line. (my emails have been bouncing, did you change your address eight6?)
fuclosure: Thanks for checking into it for me. I've never heard either song, so I'm very curious. Is there anything I can help you find?

It might not be the Worlds Apart that U are expecting but I'm pretty sure it's much better [:D]

I've been looking for this track forever (well, quite a few years any way).
I look at the Razormaid site from time to time but navigating it and the "club" format is kind of a mess. Any one know if it turns up on any dance complications CD's, etc. that are still in release?

This song was so heavily played on Mars FM. I remember hearing this and the following:
Thinking Of You - Seven Red Seven
You Think You Know Her - Cause & Effect
Dancing On The Planet - David Storrs
Million Headed Monster - I Start Counting
Living In Oblivion - Anything Box
and tracks by Celebrate The Nun
At the time, this was the future of New Wave. What an amazing station that was and the obvious reason was that it was inclusive of so many of the good early KROQ dj's.
