I recall Soul Asylum did a pretty decent rocking cover of Mavin Gaye's 'Sexual Healing' that was featured on a charity compilation that came out in the late 90's.
Anyone gotz?[8)]

Here you go, 2Nu.
The song appeared on the No Alternative compilation (1993).
Although Soul Asylum covering Marvin Gaye looks like a recipe for disaster, the results are surprisingly listenable.
Enjoy!

It couldn't be any worst than The Jesus And Mary Chain covering "My Girl". [xx(]

[/quote]Yes! Most Definitely... Thanx!
BTW: Is that the only Soul Asylum version of the song out there?

Soul Asylum released a live version of "Sexual Healing" on their live album, "After The Flood" (2004), a recording of a live performance in Grand Forks, North Dakota from 1998. I don't have this version though...
Now that we're on the topic of bad cover versions, there's always T.A.T.U.'s butchering of "How Soon Is Now?"
