What happened to the Big Country singer? I see the Alarm dedicated the song to him, but I never heard what happened to him. Anyone know? Thanks!

i'm not sure but I think that he passed away.

Unfortunately he went back to drinking and started to isolate himself more. He hanged himself on December 16, 2001 in a Hawaii motel room.
