Thanks for those. I've always liked Celebrate The Nun, they are so Depeche Mode-ish. I only know of "Will You Be There" and "She's A Secretary". Is the rest of their material similar? If so, what CD of theirs do you recommend? A greatest hits package?

We should do a new thread of all bands who sound so similar to DM. I would put Celebrate The Nun right up there! [8D]

I really wouldnt know which cd to tell you to get, I only have 2 copies of "Will you be there" on vinyl, but no cds by them.

Red Flag would also fall into that thread, (thier early stuff):Naive Art.

This, to me, is an excellent dance gem. In fact, it's my favourite mix of this song. Much better than the mixes on the CD single, IMO. Love the vinyl scratching.

Celebrate The Nun had 2 regular releases (at least that I am aware of).......Meanwhile, and Continuous. I enjoy Meanwhile the most of the two, which are also on CD, and while out of print, seem to pop up here and there. I'd say Meanwhile has a better synth pop feel to it, though both are worth having.
